Swerl is another early detergent. First marketed in the late 1930s, detergents were not sold as such until the 1950s. Instead, they were variously described as "magic suds," "suds discovery," "miracle suds," etc. This unopened box was found in upstate New York. The green is faded except on the bottom of the box.
