Is there a subtext
to this picture? (Besides the obvious Freudian one of the train – headed to Niagara falls, no less.) Is Mister Talldark N. Hansom reading a mash note penned by the girl in the coach? Or did her mother write it? And if Mom did write it, we're thinking maybe she didn't write it for her daughter.
